Mercy's Hope
Current Projects
-April- July of 2007 Mercy's Hope
is fund raising to provide a much
needed surgery for a young boy
at ElShaddai Children's Home.
He has a softball size growth on
his testicles, the cost of surgery
and hospital stay is approx.
$800.

July 2007- Goal reached!
On our July trip to Kenya we
visited Kajabe Hospital where
we scheduled and payed for the
surgery to take place the first
week in August.
"Chiggers", as the locals call
them, are very common in
young children. They are a very
painful parasite which come
from not having proper shoes
and sanitation problems.
Michael, "Junior" being
examined by the doctors at
Kajabe Hospital. His surgery will
take place the first week in
August.
September 4th, 2007, received
word that Junior's surgery was
successful and he is well.
In April, three pediatric doctors
from Missouri University
Children's Hospital traveled to
Githunguri to do check ups on
the many kids at ElShaddia,
God's Grace and Hosanna.
Although they traveled
independently, we are praying
that  this will be an ongoing
relationship between MU, the
orphanages and Mercy's Hope.
We are currently supporting
our Kenyan Director, Mercy
Wambui, in her Secondary
Schooling. She is studying
nursing, specializing in
nutrition.
