In the summer of 2007, thanks to a donation given by the Owen's family in St. Louis
Missouri, Mercy's Hope was able to pay to finalize the construction of a new
bathroom and bathing room at God's Grace. The bathroom below was being used
by 50 children and several adult volunteers. It was falling apart and was about to
collapse. The floor was never clean and impossible to sanitize due to the dirt floor.
Now the children at God's Grace have a brand new bathroom with a concrete floor.
The new bathroom is safer and stronger. Our hope is that it will provide a healthier
environment for the children, which could reduce some infectious diseases.
